A Small Idea, A Warm Light

The story of Akasa Store didn’t start in a boardroom or with a business plan. It started in a small apartment in early 2025, with one dim hallway and a broken lamp.
We had just moved into a new place. The rooms were bare, and the lighting was cold and uninviting. We went online to find something that felt... warmer. More personal. But everything we came across was either too expensive, too generic, or shipped from somewhere without any sense of care.
That’s when the idea struck—why not build our own little store, filled with lamps that weren’t just products, but pieces of home?
We didn’t have investors. No warehouse. Just a few late nights, endless cups of tea, and a love for design. We spent weeks researching manufacturers, looking for quality and sustainability. We tested samples, sometimes disappointed, sometimes surprised. Slowly, a small collection began to grow—a few lamps we were genuinely proud to put in our own home.
That’s what became Akasa Store.

We’re still small. We don’t hide that. We run the store ourselves—from answering your emails to double-checking product listings to updating our website at midnight when something breaks. But that’s also why we care so deeply about every order. Every lamp we sell has passed our own “would-we-use-this?” test.

We’re not here to trick anyone. We don’t use fake countdown timers or fake reviews. We’re just real people, building something real, one step at a time.
